how to get rid of varicose veins - Health Resources - Health Resources ...

Earlier varicose veins were known to be the disorder affecting only females but men are surprised to know that even they are a victim of such a silent killer! Women are known to have varicose veins on or before pregnancy but now even some teenagers have this disease. Veins carry deoxygenated blood back to the heart. When the veins of the body elongate and form cords of loose strings and interrupt the blood flow back to the heart, the ailment is called varicose veins.

Men who undergo varicose veins hardly ever try to find medicinal therapy. This is one cause why we think that just women go through this problem. In reality, engorged and aching veins in males are to a great extent more prominent than in women. Men too are further expected to undergo aches and pains by varicose veins than women. Men also do not complain about as much as women do! And so men typically don't hunt for medical handling either, which can also worsen the problem.

Men frequently grow varicose veins in their testicles and legs. Varicocele is the name given to the veins that get enlarged in the testis. This stipulation causes tremendous pain, but also makes the testicles shrink to a smaller size. Varicocele needs quick treatment because it may also cause infertility in men. Some forms of Varicocele do not require medical treatment because there is no harm to the testicles and hence no reason to be infertile. This is why many doctors do not prescribe a remedy until any problem persists due to loose veins in testicles. In such cases if a drug is prescribed then there is a possibility that it might brink forth unwanted side effects than treat the disorder.

If you are suffering enormously from infertility due to varicolele there is good news for you. This stipulation can be treated in the company of operation. This operation is a surgery called varicocele embolization. Do not be afraid because this is not a conventional cut and stitch up sort of surgery. The operation is quick enough and there is no need to sit for weeks in the hospital bed. A few hours of operation serves permanently throughout the lifetime. You can even go to work one or two days after the surgery which means there is noting to lose at all if you undergo through the operation during weekly holidays.

  4. QUESTION:
Is there any way of getting rid of varicose veins and spider veins in the legs without surgery?

    • ANSWER:
Yes. People who sit at desks (or anywhere) for long periods of time develop this. I actually keep my wifes legs smooth by doing deep leg massages about once a week. You can actually feel the lumps in the legs, but after a while they smooth out. The rub starts just below the buttocks and continue to the end of the feet. I usually do just one leg one night and the other the next night because it actually hurts her. Repeating the rub about once a week keeps the legs looking young. It won't happen in one session but over time they will go away. But it has to be maintained indefinitely. By the way, my wife is 40. Outside of massages, being highly active really helps.

  5. QUESTION:
how do i get rid of my varicose vein without surgery?
im only 17 and i hav a huge vein on my leg, i play lots of sports so i dont know why! how do i get it to go away??!!

    • ANSWER:
I'm sorry to tell you but, you can't make them go away. The only way to get rid of it is to get it taken out. I've tried everything there is out there and I found new stuff myself and tried it and nothing nothing nothing works. So, I finally went to a vein clinic and had it taken out and it really was no big deal at all. You can walk the next day and do your normal things. But, if you do get it taken out you would probably have to take a few weeks off of rough sports. I'm so sorry you have that though. I totally know what it feels like but, it is sooooo worth it to get it gone!!! Hope my answer isn't too long and ((hugs)) to you!!!!

Oh and also, to help with circulation and to help your legs feel better take horse chestnut with grape seed and butcher's broom. (very good herbs!!)

Additional details: I agree with Carmen, it totally sucks to be self-conscience in shorts and skirts because of a bad vein. I got a phlebectomy, which is like, the newest thing they've come up with for varicose veins and it leaves no scarring or anything. I can wear shorts and skirts now without feeling bad. It is very worth it!!!
