Where To Buy Compression Stockings

How Many Calories In A Small Apple - QwickStep Answers Search Engine

Compression stockings or compression socks as they are called in some circles are a very important aspect of life for some people. Unfortunately, they can also be very expensive. In this article, I'm going to let you in on 3 online resources where you'll be able to pick up your next pair of graduated pressure socks on the cheap. So let's go.

Resource #1: CompressionStockings.com

CompressionStockings.com boasts the largest assortment of compression socks online as well as the promise of f 00004000 ree shipping on any order over . They have also incorporated live chat within their website which makes getting any question you may have about what you need just a simple click away. A definite plus in my opinion especially if you're not sure about which type of compression hose is right for you.

Resource #2: The Support Hose Store

The SupportHoseStore.com is another great site that offers quality as well as great prices. Cheap compression stockings found here can come from many of the top brands of compression hosiery. You will find any type, style or price you want right here. The ratings for the products that come from this website are all reasonably high so you can feel safe in purchasing your stocking needs from them.

Resource #3: Amazon

Another place you can look for cheap compression stockings is Amazon.com. They offer many styles and prices from several different stores, or websites. This is probably one of the best websites to look for variety in both style and price. You have a guarantee when you order something from Amazon because you can always return it if there is a problem. Another advantage of ordering from one of the Amazon stores is that you get to read what other customers have to say about your chosen store. The ratings and comments found there will help you make a more informed decision.

PowerTip: No matter where you end up buying your compression stockings whether online or at a medical supplies store in your own home town, always buy in bulk. Many retailers will give you a substantial overall discount if you do this instead of buying your socks in pairs. The advantage of this strategy is an instant discount over what everyone else is paying. The disadvantage is lack of overall variety in your stockings selection for weeks to come.

  1. where is the best place to buy compression stockings?

  2. Where to buy Medical compression stockings? London?
Where in the London would I be able to buy Medical compression stockings? And roughly how much do they cost?

Thanks for everyones responses… I’m buying them for a friend and already I know the sizes, mmHg, etc… I just didn’t want to walk around London trying to find some aimlessly…

    1. Any large pharmacy should sell them. My husband needs them for a Deep Vein Thrombosis so he gets his on prescription slightly cheaper. I think they are about £20/25 a pair for the proper ones. You are supposed to get measured for them e.g around your calf, the length of your knee to your heel and your foot size :)

  3. My girlfriend was told to get compression stockings by her doctor but I’m reading that they are by prescriptio?
She was not given a prescription for them can they still be bought effectively? And where can I find them in US without ordering on the internet?

    1. Most pharmacies and medical supply stores carry compression stockings. The ones at drug stores are generally mild compression. Medical supply stores carry all different kinds. She will want to find closed toed not open toed though. The open toe ones are very uncomfortable.

  4. Does anyone know where to buy compression stockings in the UK?
I have varicose veins and apparently compression stockings are good for making them disappear or making them look better. I’ve been trying to find where to buy in England but I can’t find any places where they stock them. I would prefer buying them at a store, but if anyone can find some online I wouldn’t mind that either. Thankyou!

  5. Do they really help? Compression stockings?
I work on my feet for 8-10 hours a day. My calves and feet hurt by the end of the day. I was told to buy a set of compression stockings as they are suppossed to help with the circulation. Any thoughts?? And where can I find them at a decent price?
I know what they are used for. Generally compression stockings are worn by people with diabetes and vericos veins to promote circulation. I am asking if they will help with my aching legs.

    1. You might want to try some really good support hose (ex.Leggs Pantyhose). I am a nurse and am on my feet quite a bit and they really seem to help. The compression stockings or TED hose may be a little too much “compression” on your legs.

  6. where can i buy full strenght compression stockings without a doctor’s prescription’s? i want very, very tigh?
compression stockings knee lenght without a doctor’s prescription but am not sure where to buy them. can a medical expert please tell me. thanks.
